LITTLE ROCK, AR – The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office says that ice is the cause of an accident that killed 71-year-old John Blagg Thursday morning.

According to the report, Blagg was driving eastbound on Kanis Road from Ferndale Cut-Off Road. Blagg lost control of the truck he was driving when he drove over a 50-yard-long patch of ice and ran off the road into a tree.

My heart goes out to the family and friends of Mr. Blagg. He was a great person and very knowledgeable of the law. I was a student of his last year and know he will be greatly missed by all of his students then and now. The education world has lost a great man and instructor of the government classroom.
