OSAGE, Ark. (AP) - The FBI is offering a $20,000 reward for information about a homemade bomb found two years ago at a church in northwest Arkansas.
The FBI in Arkansas says the improvised explosive device was found at the Osage Baptist Church the day after runoff elections were held there in June 2010. No one was injured because the bomb, which was made out of a soda can, never went off.
One man who was arrested on a charge of possessing a bomb pleaded guilty to weapons charges and another man was convicted of conspiracy, but no one was convicted of leaving the bomb there.
The FBI says the reward is for information that leads to an arrest and indictment in the case.
