BISMARCK, AR -- It's a treasure hunt on the Thornton family property -- helping them to piece their puzzle back together that  was thrown apart Monday night by strong winds.

"Any momento that has a memory to it, I'm trying to save. It's clothes from when we were little, pictures, and notes from friends.  Things like that," Morgan Morrison said.

Morrison huddled inside with mother and brother and watched it fall among them.  It threw her husband out of the shower!  That didn't stop him from pitching in to help with cleanup.

"When I heard the news, I knew I had to do everything I could to just make it as easy as I could for them," Hancock said.

He missed school to give back to  a family that's always there for others.  His presence is a form a gratitude to them.

"When they give so much to the community, the community wants to try to give back as much as they could last night and as much as they could now," Hancock said.

And that's what's overwhelming.

"I'm so blessed with so many friends and family that have been here.  Last night there were probably 200 people here helping us save anything we could before it blew away even more," Morrison said.

"I literally thought I was going to die.  But I made it through.  The shower protected me," Luke Morrison said.

Among the hundreds of neighbors who came to the family's aid is Parker Hancock, a high school student.
