Family, friends and strangers mourn missing student's death

"I thought we were going to graduate together," said Gabriele Guardado of her cousin, Patricia. "I thought we were going to walk the stage together."
Dozens of candles burned, Tuesday, for Patricia Guardado. The UALR student was last seen alive on October 12th on her way to class around 8:45am. Fishermen found her body, Sunday, in a sweet home pond.
"I thought she was gonna make it to our test Monday."
Her mother is unable to speak. She searched for her daughter for almost a week. Now she clings to her other children for support.
"Please don't forget patty," said another family member. "She asks us this in the name of her mother."
The UALR family gathers to comfort the family Guardado leaves behind.
"I think its powerful and important to let the family know even though we didn't know her its impacted us," said one student.
A reward fund is set up at Metropolitan Bank for any information that can help police locate a suspect.
