Careless Driving = Beating. LRPD held me over an hour, full body search, pistol pointed at my head – no record beyond accomidations and security clearances, clean driving record, White / Native…. Officers’ wanted a physical reaction to jail me – claim assault. I receive a knee kick, strike in the genitals (passive torture tech) and one move too much for public forum. Instead I gave the discipline of a combat tested Soldier. 105 degree day, I’m screamed at with pistol pointed at my head to put my hands on a running Cruiser’s black hood, appx 390 F. As my skin boiled to 2nd degree burns the Officers’ became confused assuming subjugation by then. I denied “physical” reaction. Internal Affairs burning hands off is fine. 2nd Degree burns don’t get iced down – slow cooling. Had I been the criminal as treated, well, the Officer allowed access to his pistol 7 separate times by bold stupidity (unlatched holster). Careless Driving, no said the Judge! Oh, you can’t discuss being beaten in traffic court, have to get a lawyer; I did, for those who could not. Dumbfound a Citizen dare demand professionalism. Rapidly, I changed their sleep patterns with very real suits. Sad it takes money to do so. These Officers' are breaking ranks, as they know the routine. Now it has come to their family; they are reacting in the proper way.

The fact the 2 sons are/were involved in law inforcement & are bring the suit against their own department speaks VOLUMES..... Stand up for truth and justice boys, I have a strong feeling you learned it from your dad...so sorry for such a tragic loss. I cannot see how it couldn't be excessive force. 2 officers & backup? If you weren't there, Aren't involved in the investigation and are only aware of what you heard on television or read in the newspaper, anything you post is purely biased speculation. This is a tragic event and should be left to the courts to decide.
