Faulkner Co. administrator: "I've done nothing wrong"

A Faulkner County public official accused of taking nearly $4000 worth of taxpayer funds and using it to pave his driveway. Now, county administrator Jeff Johnston faces a felony theft charge but he tells FOX16 he has no plans to resign.

The neighbors saw them paving his driveway and it didnt add up. What kind of statement is that? Do the neighbors think he couldnt afford it or what? Just because someone is having their driveway paved, doesnt mean there is something suspicious going on. I wonder why the Fed's didnt pursue this. If he used tak money to pay for this, fire him, make him pay restitution and dont offer him anything under a felony.

itsjustme; thought I heard on the local news tonight that the FBI had this case for 3 years, then handed it back to the state/county. "I've done nothing wrong..." How many times have we heard that one from politicians and "public" officials?

Other than the fact this guy was dumb enough to think he could get away with this, the fact this went unnoticed for over 4 years baffles me.
