LITTLE ROCK, AR – Twelve people are displaced by a fire that destroyed 9 apartments in southwest Little Rock Tuesday morning.

The Red Cross says the Little Rock Fire Department had to come out two different times, once at 1am and again at 5:30am, to fire calls at an apartment complex located on Hilaro Springs Road. In total, 9 of the 14 units were destroyed. The Red Cross says 5 of those units were vacant at the time.

The Red Cross will be providing shelter, food, clothing, and lifesaving medical supplies to those displaced by the fire.
