Fire destroys First Electric Cooperative warehouse, Saturday.

LITTLE ROCK, AR – Fire destroyed Arkansas Electric Cooperatives, Inc. offices just after 11am, Saturday. The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.

Firefighters say the blaze had a good head start on them before they even arrived on the scene. The warehouse is located at 1 Cooperative Lane in Little Rock, just off Scott Hamilton.

The scene was too hot for investigators to immediately enter the building after firefighters extinguished the flames. There are no reports of any injuries.

Investigators are still trying to determine the cost of the damage but say the structure and its contents are a total loss.

This is not "First" Electric. This is the Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas or "Arkansas Electric". First Electric is located in Jacksonville.

Just Great!Now my Electric bill will go up! Or the customers will get hit with another fee or should I say unjust TAX!
