Fire displaces 10 people

LITTLE ROCK, AR – Ten people lost their homes after fire destroyed or damaged their apartments. The blaze erupted around 4:30am, Saturday morning.

Captain Randy Hickmon with the Little Rock Fire Department says two units are destroyed in building four of the Barrington Hills apartment complex at 1221 reservoir road in Little Rock. Other apartments in the building sustained smoke and water damage. The damage required the building be disconnected from utility service.

There are no reports of any injuries. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
