JACKSONVILLE, AR - "It's great to be in Arkansas. You all look so fit, you are eating vegetables"

First Lady Michelle Obama wants more military personnel eating those vegetables.

Little Rock Air Force Base is one of six in the nation with a pilot program for more fruits and vegetables, lean meats and whole grains.

It’s a program that will now spread to 1.5 million more service personnel.

After touring the Hercules Dining Hall, the First Lady met with service airmen and women including sergeant Brandon Jackson.

"I didn't get to talk with her for long but she seems like she is really a down to Earth person," Jackson says.

Jackson says he's already realizing the benefits of healthier options.

The First Lady brought the message that healthy food choices for adults spread to their children.

A different way to eat, live to combat obesity.

Not True Fayezee, You wouldn't believe the amount of Air Force personnel that are on the "Fat boy" program for not passing their fitness test.

Hello Michelle - the military has always had fitness requirements and the chow lines have always been pretty good. She's yapping to the choir! You won't find too many out of shape people on any military base or post.
