I understood they purposely opened the stopcocks on the Bullshoals damn to prevent another Jonestown flood. None the less all you could see were the chimneys sticking up above water along the river banks. All this preceeded by a hail storm in the spring which caused homeowners to reshingle their roofs. I bet they were glad they reshingled to keep the water out. Not even the fish were happy.

The white got everything my daughter and her man owned last year. 3 houses, bait shop, cars and trucks. I thought the dams on the White river water shed was to control flooding. Has there been excessive rains in the last few years or is someone sitting on their butt and not doing their job. Insurance and Fema are a joke. FEMA would not give them a dime because they didn't want to rebuild in the same area. Who would. As most of the area they are worried about is flat farm land I do see any Albert Pike worries.

In others words, here is your warning. We sure do not want another Albert Pike episode, nor do we want anymore stupid lawsuits.
