Sometimes when you go the extra mile people expect you to keep giving at rates that you can't hold up under. You go to feeling used. Taken advantage of. Just happen to know all involved here. Do lots of free work myself. Yes she didn't do the right thing. We are talking about less than 1000 dollars. Most of the morons I know that need to be involved with the f word comment here. It's easy to comment when your name isn't posted but who really cares what a spineless jelly fish has to say. I don't hide. My name is Butch. I fish in the Gold Lake area on what used to be Lake Conway. Ask anyone to point me out. If they follow you you will see the respect my giving in my community has earned me. And even after several felony convictions. 1000 dollars, Get real. I used to sweep that up out of my floor daily.

A volunteer that says she feels she is owed something for her hard work. I guess the real reward, which should be self gratitude and knowing she did a very good thing in helping people, isnt good enough for her. She thinks the feeling deep inside of knowing you genuinely helped someone in need should be accompanied by a check. I say to her, and I can be quoted as saying this, "F YOU MORON."

Question???? How do you volunteer for a (NON) profit organization and they owe you something. I thought that was why they call it NON profit. They relie on volunteers and donations. This is for people in need. NOT to asist in keeping up with you"re high maintenance. Get a grip and get a life. Possibly even a paying job..... Volunteer in you"re off time.
