FORT SMITH, Ark. (AP) — Police in Fort Smith are investigating the shooting death of a man whose body was found in an alley by a couple scouting out rental property.

Shortly after noon Wednesday police were called with a report that a man was down and bleeding. Investigators found the body of 36-year-old Jamie Lee Czeck of Kibler, who died of multiple gunshot wounds.

Neighbors told police they heard gunfire Tuesday evening and that a small- to mid-size passenger car sped from the area.

Police don't have a motive for the slaying and have not identified any suspects. The investigation is continuing.

Fort Smith Police is incompetent. All they want to do is pull people over for not turning their blinker on and search their cars. Since when does K-9 units pull people over for minor traffic violations?
