CONWAY, AR – A former foster parent and volunteer firefighter was sentenced to 4 years in jail for possession of child pornography.

Daniel Klosky was a foster parent of two children, ages 17 and 8, when he was arrested and charged with 38 counts of possession of child pornography in 2009. Given his time already served, Klosky could be up for parole as early as April.

“He has about 6 months time already, so he would be parole eligible in the not so distant future,” says John Wesley Hall, Klosky’s attorney.

Hall maintains his client’s innocence and says he will file an appeal in the next 30 days.

“Where the images were, they were not accessible to him. Half the files were in the cache files which no user except an IT specialist could ever find. The others were in the allocated space, which means and all the witnesses admitted these were inaccessible at the time the computer was viewed by police," says Hall.

The prosecution declined to discuss Monday’s sentencing because Klosky will be back in court in March to face rape charges stemming from an incident in 2009. The Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office says the victim in that case was a teenage boy.

Truth is the now adult Foster child said he never saw anything in that home wrong, and he has reached out to Kloskys parents to tell them none of it was true, the truth is a scorned woman with access to the home and the used computer has experience in setting people up for this as her ex just served 13 years.. Klosky has and would put his life on the line for others and would give his life to Protect your kid, mine and his own from what she has railroaded him with. This is a sad case where a community is losing one of the good ones, I pray for truth.

Fireman needs his hose cut off and hung up to dry. Take him to the woods and tie him to a tree and cover him with honey right before the bears come out of hibernation. Not sure why they call it the dept of corrections when nothing is corrected and the ones that need correcting are the Judges and Prosecutors.

I find it shocking that out of 38 counts, he only received a 4 year sentence. These are the kind of people we need to keep off of the street, but these nutless judges and prosecutors are doing a piss poor job at it. Maybe he will be charged with rape, but then again he will probably only get a 5 year sentence to run concurrent with the 4 years he got for the child porn. F'ed up judicial system I would say.

As law enforcement continues to prosecute and track child porn by computer users, is it so difficult to believe that these people have learned a few computer tricks? Car thieves learn to bypass alarms and others deterrents, pedophiles learn to hide in plain site (daycares, churches, youth organizations), and identity thieves learn to avoid new security measures almost as quickly as they are developed. I find little credibility in his claims and less so in a statement from a lawyer.
