Four arrested in Lonoke shooting

LONOKE, AR- Police say four arrests have been made in connection to the September 18 murder of Walter Jones.

According to reports, Jeremy Walker, Cortney McClain, Kimo McClain and Fantasia Williams were arrested in Longview, TX around 2:30 pm Friday.

Lonoke Police Chief Mike Wilson says Walker was arrested for second degree murder and terrorist acts, while the McClains, described as brothers and Williams, described as Kimo McClain's girlfriend, were arrested for hiding Walker in Longview, where Williams lives.

Wilson said that a tip led to the arrests, and that the four are in custody with Walker awaiting extradition back to Lonoke.

I PRAY FOR ALL FAMLIES INVOLVED THE VIOLANCE HAS GO TO STOP.... There was kids all around when this happened. I knew walt and yes he was a nice young man i also knew the other people involved and never would have thought that they could do this. for sure jeremy i worked with him and it is very shocking. i dont care what happened leading up to this but NOBODY deserved to die.. I pray that god will protect all and that nobody else has to die. retaliation does not need to happen we all neecd to come together as one community and pray and protect our children...

Im glad I didnt see damblackgirl comment. I bet she is had some part in the fact that this happen to Walt! Walter was a good young man who might had a lil problems in the past but at the same, was working on fixing them! Thanks 1gmama for your prayers! We need in this time as we all have not gotten over this and still in shock that it was went down this way! Fox16 why hasn't damblackgirl's comments been deleted from this site? damblackgirl it doesn't take all of that, your true colors are shining through. I am black also, but you don't speak for me. RIP Mr. Jones and prayer for your family. Prayers to all the black young people involved in this. We have got to stop the dumb stuff right now.

I am so happy that they caught them. I dont know how long they thought they could hide but I am so happy. And Cortney, I guess "it is what it is" now huh? You went on TV to try and say you dont know who did it, but yet yo dumb tale goes to Texas and get arrested Jeremy. Stupid!! N Jeremy, I hope you get whats coming for you! RIP Walter Jones!!
