SEARCY, AR – The Searcy Police Department says they have arrested a fourth person in connection to the murder of Zach Mitchell.

Police say 22-year-old Sherod Shockley was arrested Monday and is currently being held with no bond at the White County Jail. Shockley has been charged with capital murder in Mitchell’s death.

Three others have also been arrested in connection to the murder. The investigation is ongoing.

I went to School with two of the murderers. I am very shocked to see all this take place. My graditude is extended to Zachs family! And my prayers for Zachs family as well as my classmates. We played football together, ran the Ole Augusta High School halls together, and now you've threw away your life over nothing! I pray God extends his hand to you, and forgiveness is found. "White or Black, taking someones life is murder" I hate to see all this take place

@ bobcat, the situation isn't good for anyone. It's not pleasant for the victims family nor the suspects family. I feel truly bad for the victims family because his life was shortened too early. @bobcat, how about you learn to Pray for the family of the victim instead of being so quick to judge the situation? Remember the things you are quick to judge on, at some point in your life, you will be judged on as well. If not you, I am sure you have family. BUT I do want you to remember one factor....his friend set him up. In my opinion, the friend needs a nice sentence as well as the ones who took the victims life.

Yes, he set up his own friend it's just the BeastLY behavior of people of the anglo saxon persuasion. Godless and beast by nature. Look at the history of these type of people. NOthing left to say!!!!!!!!!

People how do you look when you best a fool. Is better to keep mouth shut when dealing with fools rather than look like one yourself. His friend set him up. That is the one I want to see punished. This child has been forever robbed of his father.

You can tell the intelligence of a person by the ignorant comments they post. With the hidden racial slurs, who is the first one to say they are not racist your comments tell a different story. People are not that ignorant they can't read through the lines. Never heard you ( Bobcat ) address the white thugg or anybody else for that matter ! Really hard to have sympathy for the victim when i read slurs like this. May god bless the family. And to the dumb asses below. In your grandparents generation, tragedy struck black families in this way. MY HOW THINGS HAVE CHANGED.

Uneducated on Black American hair styles. The man has dread locks not Jeri curls. Aunt Jemima (not spelled like it sounds ) wore a scarf you never saw her hair ! I guess Zach was the lucky one he's dead.
