Fugitive captured in Bryant

HOT SPRINGS COUNTY, AR - A Hot Spring County fugitive is now back in custody.

Authorities say Malvern Police arrested Donald Brown early this morning in Bryant.

Brown was supposed to report to prison this week to begin serving a six year sentence for drug charges, but officials say he removed his electronic monitoring device and ran.

Law enforcement located Brown around 5:00am this morning in the Vista Inn in Bryant where he surrendered without any problems.

Brown is now expected to face additional charges, including escape.
