It's a shame a young mother would be in this position, I really wish they would make some safer jobs for them, they want to serve which is fine but they are women and despite whatever arguments out there - there is still a difference, and if shes only nineteen and a mom she's already had a tough life, it's in her eyes- fighting for her country and security for herself and her daughter- can't they think of things in our own country 9-5 for women - the service doesn't all have to be fighting- there is so much more to excel at these days and they don't have to serve the same way as men to serve.

National Guardsmen- they bear a heavy burden, travel a weary path, stand firm in the face of adversity. We celebrate the fruits of their labor in the freedoms we enjoy. It doesn't matter what State they come from, or where they serve. May GOD gather you to him and give you rest, grant your family peace and compassionate comfort in their loss. Thank you......

"She was a brave young woman who selflessly gave all she had for her country and the other Soldiers that served alongside her. She'll be remembered more for being an outstanding Soldier than being the first female Oklahoma National Guardsmen killed in combat." RIP Spc. Butcher. SOME of us appreciate that we have freedom because you laid down your life for what you believed in.
