LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - A funeral will be held later this week for a 20-year-old college sophomore whose body was found in a pond in central Arkansas.
The Rev. Jason Tyler says the funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday for Patricia Guardado.
Authorities say Guardado's body was found Sunday just outside of Little Rock. She was reported missing on Oct. 12. Her car was found in a parking lot near the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, where she studied international business.
Her death has been ruled a homicide, but authorities haven't named any suspects or released details about how she was killed.
The Mass will start at 10 a.m. at St. Edward Catholic Church, where Guardado often attended Mass with her family. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
