Garland jailer fired among allegations he had sex with inmate

HOT SPRINGS, AR – A Garland County jailer previously on leave due to allegations he had sex with an inmate has been fired, according to the Garland County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff’s office says that Jason Carr was fired because he violated policy.

Once the investigation is complete, all witness statements and evidence will be forwarded to the prosecutor’s office to determine if any criminal charges will be filed.
