They have got to stop letting these criminals back on the street with a slap on the wrist. It takes a truly evil person to beat a mother and child.... we should treat them as such and not allow them back on the streets for a very long time.

He'll serve more jail time for felony possession and discharge of a firearm than he will for beating that lady and poor child...

SMH, My heart goes out to this victum of Domestic Battery. If the justice system won't take care of these fools, I have 4 big strapping sons and God Sons and a brother that will take care of any joker that has the nerve to put his hands on me. Ladies time out for the dumb stuff, we must learn to protect ourselves and stop choosing to be with these losers. IJS

@Razorback...he's out because domestic violence offenders get a slap on the wrist. They'll get arrested, charged, (and some even acquitted on charges) only to get out and find the next victim. It only escalates...until someone gets killed. Then the system will want to do something. Sad.

Cannady was convicted in 2009 of the felonies commercial burglary and 1st degree domestic battery. In Monday’s assault, Cannady is charged with aggravated residential burglary, 2nd degree domestic battery, 2nd degree battery, and aggravated assault. Billions of tax dollars wasted on the persecution, prosecution and incarceration of NON-VIOLENT cannabis consumers. And then there is not enough money to keep these violent people off the streets so they don't commit these types of crimes again. The priorities of our justice system is broken when more precedence is defining our citizenship by what we possess to consume, instead of by how we treat those we share out community with.
