AVOCA, Ark. (AP) - Authorities say a 4-year-old girl has been killed in a fire at a mobile home in northwestern Arkansas.

Firefighters were called to the residence in Avoca about 5 p.m. Friday. The girl's father and another child were home at the time and got out, but the little girl didn't.

The Benton County Sheriff's Office says the child's mother wasn't home.

Authorities say the girl most likely died of smoke inhalation, but fire officials haven't determined what caused the blaze.
