LITTLE ROCK, AR -- Andy Biernat wants to show his son, Will, important life skills using the game of golf.

"It teaches you about things that you wouldn't normally think about," said Andy, "It teaches kids about sportsmanship, etiquette, basically being a good person."

Will is able to enjoy the game, while learning from his dad at the same time.

"It's a great bonding thing," said Will.

After being closed for part of the summer for course renovations, First Tee managers say they are happy to once again offer parents a place to bring their children.

"This is about family. It's about bringing people together. It is focusing on the successful things in their lives and building confidence, values, respect, honesty, and integrity in their lives," said Golf Director Brad Martin.

The course also offers programming geared toward building youth.

"We are very proud of what we do here," said Martin

The name is "First Tee", Stephens built it using the land the old Rock Creek course was on. This was a poor article though, a lot more could have been said regarding the classes and kid's programs.

What kind of IDIOT wrote this article? It doesn't even give the name of the golf course that reopened. I've seen some lame brains but this takes the cake.
