LITTLE ROCK, AR – Google has announced a new program that will provide free websites to Arkansas businesses.
Monday, Google announced Arkansas Get Your Business Online, a program which will help drive economic growth by giving Arkansas businesses the tools and resources to establish a website, find new customers, and grow their business.
For the next year, participating Arkansas businesses can go to www.ArkansasGetOnline.com to get a free website as well as free tools, training and resources to help their business succeed online. Google is partnering with Intuit to provide its popular Intuit Websites offerings for free including an easy-to-build website, a customized domain name and web-hosting for one year.
“An online presence provides new opportunities for business growth by expanding a company’s customer base and keeping the doors open 24/7,” Senator Mark Pryor said.
“I appreciate Google’s initiative to give Arkansas companies an edge in today’s tough economy, and I hope our small businesses will take advantage of this program.”
“The perception that getting online is complex, costly and time-consuming has prevented many Arkansas small businesses from taking the first step,” Scott Levitan, Director of Small Business Engagement at Google said. “This program makes it fast, easy and free for businesses to get online."
Both the website and event registration are currently available. For further information, please visit
