I am waiting on my pardon to be signed by the gov! Not all people that have a conviction is a bad person, some of us do learn from our mistakes. So to the people that want to put the ones down just because they have been in a little trouble, needs to stop. I'm sure you are doing wrong things yourself but you have not been caught yet, but you will one day. You talk to people everyday that may work in a store and they may have a conviction and you would not know about it. My conviction was for hot check, how many of you had wrote a hot check or 2. I'm glad that I learned from my mistake because it helped me become a better person. If you seen me on the street somewhere you would have no idea that I have been in some trouble 18 years ago. To all the ones that have learned from your mistakes and that are doing better in life because you made the changes congratulations. Keep your head held up high and keep on moving forward, that's all we can do.

Not all people who have been to prison are scumbags you closed minded ignorant Arkie. I did in 1997 and its people like you who tried to keep me down with discrimination. I have not been back to prison, and as a matter of fact I am doing better than most Arkansans and the rest of the American population. I have great career working for myself and bringing in one-hundred thousand dollars a year. Not with the help of judgmental people but with the help of understanding and accepting people. There are too many people that judge. Not everyone who is a felon is a bad person, they are someone's mother, sister and daughter. So until you have walked in their shoes you can not judge with a closed minded. I think I will apply for my pardon since its has been 14 years and I am doing so well.

Even though I do not agree with pardons, atleast he hasnt let anyone out that has went and killed multiple people. (Huckabee) I agree that these low life criminals (ALL criminals) should serve their entire sentence. And for those that say they cant due to overcrowding, here is the answer to that. Hack the ones on death row, the murderers, rapists, child molestors and the most violent ones. That will open up space for a lot of criminals. If the prisons run out of beds, make them sleep on the floors. I for one do not care if it is uncomfortable or not. Stack em up like firewood for all I care. Make prison a prison.

no one deserves a pardon or early release, we need mor prisons and longer sentences, the way the system is now the criminals do not serve enough time and are out way too soon to start over on another crime. We need to make it a lot tougher and harder on the scum of society
