Good, they need to charge everyone in these cases, think about it, if not then this will become the method for getting rid of unwanted children. I think several have already gotten away with it.

Sad story.my g-ma is 80 and I wouldn't put her in the position to have to be responsible for small children.she can barely find her glasses.

Appreciate the details Libertarian. I was wondering about that also. But then I thought, if they were feeble minded; then someone dropped the ball by allowing them to take care of a two year old child. A 51 year old and a 61 year old, leaving a 2 year old child in a car in this heat; lock 'em up for a long time as pat said.

I had to go to another news source to get details. I thought as GREAT grandparents, could they be showing signs of dementia? But the other source says "William James Staten, 51, and Margette Inise Staten, 61"

It is a shame....but these people SHOULD BE LOCKED UP FOR A LOOOONG TIME. I am sure they are suffering, but they should never have even considered leaving a child that young alone to start with. God Bless anyone who loved this child.
