Griffin Gets Update on Mayflower Cleanup Efforts

Griffin talked to ExxonMobil leaders and city and county officials about the latest on the cleanup.
MAYFLOWER, AR -- Congressman Tim Griffin received an update on cleanup efforts in Mayflower as a result of the oil spill on Monday.

Griffin talked to ExxonMobil leaders and city and county officials about the latest on the cleanup.

He plans to introduce legislation that would not charge taxes on the money displaced neighbors received from ExxonMobil.

Griffin says he personally calls homeowners for updates.

ExxonMobil released a report last week that says a manufacturing defect caused the Pegasus Pipeline to rupture on March 29.
