LITTLE ROCK, AR - Attorney General Dustin McDaniel announced that agents from his office have arrested a Boone County man for possession of child pornography.

David Allen Watson, 43, was arrested Thursday by agents with the Attorney General’s Cyber Crimes Unit.

“We will pursue those throughout our State who engage in this kind of reprehensible criminal activity,” McDaniel said. “Those who exploit children should know we will not tolerate their actions. We will continue to work with other law enforcement agencies to investigate these crimes.”

Watson was arrested after a search warrant was executed at home in Harrison. Watson was taken into custody after admitting to investigators that he had images of child pornography on his laptop computer.

During the search, agents discovered multiple images of child pornography on the computer. That and other seized electronic evidence will be analyzed at the Cyber Crimes Unit Forensic Lab.

Watson is being held in the Boone County Detention Center.

Dustin, you need to get your ass in gear and do more of this, if not, you will not be Gov. You were a Jonesboro Police Officer before your current job, you need to get 10-8. Children are first.

Arresting these sick perverts does not impress me. If you want to impress me Dustin, sentence these bastards accordingly. Dont just arrest them and sentence them to a 5 year sentence. You say these types of crimes will not be tolerated, then hold true to that and make the sentencing more than what it is.
