HARRISON, Ark. (AP) — Police in Harrison say a man impersonating a police officer has twice tried to stop a female driver.

The first report came from a 53-year-old woman who said she was stopped Oct. 4 by a man driving a car with flashing blue lights — but the man only pulled beside her car — then stared at her before driving away.

The second incident occurred Oct. 11 when a 21-year-old woman said she also was stopped by a car with flashing blue lights and that after she got out of her car the man tried to grab her. The Harrison Daily Times reports that the woman said she was able to break free and get in her car and drive away.

The suspect is described as a white man in his late teens to mid-20s with dirty or dark blond hair and a scar along his chin.

I'm not sure if it's true but i heard that there is a phone # you can call that leads you straight to the dispatch (not 911) and you can ask if you are really being pulled over. Like i said im not sure if its true but its something to look into. I hope this may help any one!!! Have a wonderful day and be safe.

I remember this sort of thing happening a few years back here in the state. Why do stupid people stop drive to well lighted place before stopping.I found out the other day if you choose to drive on don't exceed the speed limit and they can't charge you with fleeing. This by the way came from a police officer.
