A two car accident closed one SB lane on I-530

LITTLE ROCK, AR – An accident on I-530 southbound Wednesday afternoon has closed one lane of the freeway. The accident happened south of I-30 near Dixon Road and traffic is backed up for miles.

Witnesses tell Fox 16 that an SUV driving northbound lost control, crossed the median, and hit a gold car driving southbound. The SUV flipped and came to rest on its hood. The condition of the first driver is unknown. The four people in the gold car were not seriously hurt in the accident.

State Police are investigating.

They probably lost control due to one of the 25,000 pot holes in the road. I-530 is a piece of crap road, and the so called patch work has not help up. But let AHTD keep giving LR nice roads and interstates, piss on the rest of the issues.
