LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Heavy rain is in the forecast for Arkansas this weekend, and as much as six inches is possible in the southeastern part of the state.
The National Weather Service said Friday that a slow-moving cold front will move into the state, with rain spreading along and ahead of the front.
The front is forecast to stall over the state's southeast corner. Minor to moderate flooding is possible.
The weather service says two to four inches of rain will be common across much of the state, while the southeast is expected to get four to six inches. The most rain is expected east of the Interstate 30-Highway 67 corridor.
