According to a recent article in U.S. News and World Report, politicians and business leaders are asking high school students to look at community colleges to further their education.

Pulaski Tech can help students who want to spend less time in the classroom with a one-year technical certificate or a two-year associates degree.

Graduates can emerge with the skills needed to enter the workforce, especially in STEM-related fields.

"What we have at Pulaski Tech are programs that fill those jobs and fill those jobs with very competent students who then turn into great employees," Pulaski Tech President Margaret Ellibee says.

There are an estimated 600,000 jobs, a high number of those in manufacturing, that are unfilled because there are not enough qualified applicants.
