LITTLE ROCK, AR -- This weekend, the Rusty Cup ice hockey tournament is being held in Little Rock. Teams from across the south are here to take all. But planners are really trying to generate local interests from players no matter their skill level.

"We have a great time. We are just out there to have fun. We don't care. Win. Lose. Whatever," said planner Simone Bellamy

The Little Rock Air Force base has its own team.

"When you start playing it, there is really nothing else you want to do," said player Tre Jensen.

Like any sport, players say expect the unexpected. Sunday, a Dallas all women's team beat a men's team

"The puck slipped off my stick and it just worked to my advantage. The goalie lifted his stick because he thought I was going to go high. But the puck just came off the tip of my stick and slid right in," said player Peanut Ratliff.

But planners say no matter the outcome, the ultimate goal is to have fun. To play in the league, it is free if it is your first time. Go to: www.rustybladeshockey.net/rct11.html.
