Before moving into a place you like you should find the utility providers. Simply call them and find the average cost of utilities at the address you wish to rent. They do it every where why not here. All they have to release is the average cost, no personal information. As for the Veterans and disabled I fall in both brackets. I've never need assistance but if I do I know where to get it.

If you are served by NLR Electric they raised ther rates by almost 40% about 5 years ago. Heck, I have a decent job and during the peak summer months my electric bill is over half of my paycheck! They stated they needed the rate hike for improvements, but in 5 years I have not seen any. But I sure see them driving brand new vans, cars, and trucks! They used to come out and trim trees around power lines but I haven't seen them in over 5 years. People move into our neighborhods, then you see them move right back out because they can't afford the utilities. They are a monopoly and I can't believe no one is investigating them!!
