Inappropriate word found on 430/630 marquee

hahaha, I see that little "shift" error all of the time on resumes..for example; "my duties were to schedule employee "shifts" minus the "f"....or "I'm interested in any "shift" you have available...Could have been an honest mistake like some of the resumes I get but either way, it's funny as "shift"....l0l

The objection is to Anglo-Saxon words which were declared vulgar after the French speaking Normans invaded England (1066 AD) and changed the language to French. Latin - f*eces is acceptable. French - defecation is acceptable. Anglo-Saxon - sh*it is "inappropriate". I despise the current fashion of calling things "inappropriate" when what is meant is vulgar. Any 4 or 5 letter word substituted for "shift" would have been inappropriate. Actually a 5 letter word starting with sh and ending with t is less inappropriate. Less shaft.. Lanes shack. Lanes shade. Don't look for semantic logic here. How do lanes "defecate"?

Big old sign on restuarant on Rodney Parham is very hard to read ...looks like FU KING chinese food...everyone I know agrees to that.

Amazes me that they allow GD on TV but not sh$$t and this is inappropriate? Kids hear worse than that on commercials and out of their parents mouthes...Oh well, I guess NEWS IS NEWS..it is what it is.
