OZARK, AR – He was in the hospital Friday, but he will be in the Capitol, Monday. State Representative-elect Bob Ballinger of Hindsville, was in a rollover wreck Thursday and spent the night in the hospital, but is this weekend recuperating at home.

The crash happened on Interstate 40, near Ozark, as Ballinger was returning home after a meeting in Little Rock. His vehicle hydroplaned then rolled several times before coming to rest against a tree.

“There were three great folks who stopped and helped me out of the car, but I was able to climb out with just a helping hand,” Ballinger says. “I am blessed I was not hurt any more and I plan on being in Little Rock on Monday.”

Ballinger says he suffered some fractured ribs and bruises. His vehicle was the only one involved in the crash.
