NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR - It is an opportunity for you to learn and ensure your child is safe while traveling. North Little Rock Police Department is sponsoring Child Safety Seat Check Day at McCain Mall. They are waiting for you in the South parking lot near Firestone, 3929 McCain Boulevard, North Little Rock.

Certified technicians and police officers are checking child passenger seats for proper installation. They are also helping parents understand proper installation procedures for car seats and child booster seats. Just as important is ensuring the seats used are a proper fit for the size of the child and are structurally sound.

North Little Rock Police also have their specially equipped humvee there and a robot used by police in situations considered too dangerous for officers. The event continues until 1:00 pm Saturday afternoon. It is free and open to everyone.

"...safe in their car seat." Whose car seat? Do you mean "your car seat"? "his car seat"? "a car seat"?
