I grew up in the Heights and can remember as a child a Christmas tradition of seeing the Osborne lights. Waiting in line for hours in traffic on Cantrell just to catch a glimpse of them for a short moment, drinking hot chocolate from a thermos. My prayers are with the Osborne family and truly know that the angels are rejoicing in Heaven dancing at Jennings presence. What a tremendous legacy to leave behind for all of Arkansas. God Bless you Mitzi and Breezy, you are in my prayers.

A true gentleman, kind to the Nurses & Staff that cared for him. Thoughtful of all of us, even ordering us takeout Chinese food & pizza. We remember his generosity, quiet dignity & love for his family. RIP Sir, job well done.

Jennings Osborne was one of the most caring, compassionate individuals I have ever met. He opened his home and his heart through his light display every year and handed out huge candy cane sticks to everyone who came by, child or adult, and he had the biggest smile on his face. He was truly a "gentle giant". Once when we lived close to the Osbornes, we decorated our house with a whole lot of lights and other displays, and Mitzy and Breezey actually stopped by our house to compliment us on our lights. I was so impressed that they would take time out of their busy lives to come to our door and tell us how much they liked our display. Our thoughts and prayers are with Mitzy and Breezey and the rest of the Osborne family. He will be missed, and if I want to experience his kindness and enthusiasm for life, I will make a trip to WDW at Christmastime and feel the warmth of him in the lights. God bless you all!

Arkansas lost not just a great man today, but a true hero. I've heard of so many lives he, and his family have helped, asking for nothing in return, and for the most part, he did it without recognition. My thoughts and prayers are with the Osborne family, May God give you comfort and God Bless you all. The Eastridge Family.

Same here he gave us all some great memories and onetime special events, think they ripped off his River market lights but his deal on Cantrell was very unique; His home and lights were a holiday word and attractions for a few years for us and for visitors. His candy canes were also appreciated. Thank you Osbornes, condolences to you, you will all be remembered.

I remember the year I took my kids to see his house and grounds on Cantrell. Everything was covered in red lights. It was cold and rainy but what a thrill for ALL of us. I wish I'd been a passenger instead of the driver so I could take it alllll in; but I became a kid again that night. And I was so honored that he was grand marshall for one of the Christmas parades in Little Rock. That season was the first season the State's capitol was covered in white lights. It looked like the Taj Mahal. And I had no idea how MUCH he really did for others! Wow, I thank God for Jennings Osborne.
