LITTLE ROCK, AR – Two men, armed with a pistol and a shotgun, robbed the Johnny Carino’s at Pleasant Ridge Shopping Center Monday morning.

According to reports, two suspects came into the restaurant and pointed guns at the employees, telling them to get on the floor. The suspects reportedly stole at least two cell phones, hit a man on the head, then forced him to open the safe and give them an undetermined amount of money. The suspects then left the scene in a Honda Hatchback.

Nobody was injured during the robbery.

Police say they are determining if this robbery is connected to the Arvest Bank robbery, which happened later in the day Monday. Police say at least one person robbed the bank and someone was shot in the leg as the suspect left the scene.
