TRUMANN, Ark. (AP) — Authorities have arrested a Jonesboro man on suspicion of capital murder in the deaths of two Trumann residents.

Arkansas State Police Lt. Brant Tosh says 28-year-old John Arnoult was arrested Sunday. Arnoult is accused in the Sept. 2 deaths of 56-year-old Constance "Connie" Cole and 57-year-old John Poff.

Cole and Poff were found dead in Poff's mobile home in Trumann by a maintenance man conducting a welfare check.

Tosh tells The Jonesboro Sun that authorities are not pursuing any additional suspects.

Arnoult is being held in the Poinsett County jail. Authorities did not know if he had an attorney.
