guzzler. You should research things better before speaking out of ignorance. There was no probable cuase for the officer to confront the man anyway. there wasn't an active search for him either. if he was able to rack up 23 charges without being searched for they were just simple waiting for him to slip up again. The judicial system in AR should be embarrassed right about now for letting him get that many charges. But for you to say something so blindly stupid...you wouldn't say that if it was your family member. You sound racist.

Oh good grief people! Quit making assumptions, wait until the details of the investigation come out. All we know for sure is that he was trying to make an arrest and someone fought back. What that means we don't know. You can't condem a police officer for shooting this man without knowing all the details. Really! I know there are some bad eggs out there, they exist in all professions, but over all most police officers are good, honest, hard working people who are here to protect and serve.

Could it be a possibility that the officer got a little trigger happy?..Don't get me wrong, the guy was an idiot to resist arrest and I always like to see the good guys win but unless he truly felt like his or someone else's life was threatened, then it's illegal to use deadly force. The cops aren't above the law, they have to pretty much abide by the same law that we "peasants" do. Was this guy unarmed? Surely the officer could have just tazed him if the assailant was unarmed. Guess there's a lot to this story that remains untold. Have to wait and see.

Fox must have removed "all those praises" cause I only see a few that as I've stated before are a tad insensitive. I like how SOME contributors can come on these comment boards and admonish every other commenter and draw conclusions concerning the proper implementation of force for Police with out having all of the facts concerning the incident. In the State of Arkansas, every Police agency has a policy and force continuum they train their Officers in. If there is a violation it will be revealed in one of the two investigations mandated by Arkansas Law. Until there are revelations of violation, comments on that are purely speculation based upon a preconceived bias....Obviously

However, if the facts come out and the officer's life was in danger, than great, he should have killed him. Different circumstances call for different actions and I have noticed on this and other news sites that people dont read everything and they constantly jump to conclusions, everyone is entitled to their opinion but I just wish people would think...
