They are probably just killing time until they say it HAS TO BE the residential area they wanted to start with. Makes my blood boil to see residents at city meetings objecting to something when I expect the city/developers have already decided what they are going to do...calling developers by their first names....cronies/buddies...in bed together. These plans don't come up overnight. WalMart probably bought the property for the Chenal/Hwy 10 store 20 years ago, so residents were wasting their time objecting to that....Delta Timber should have been sued by the people who bought their houses close to WalMart.

I agree ArkYank, this Tech Park is a total waste of tax money and will never provide one positive thing for Little Rock, just a damn waste.

The government is always complaining about the "budget". Not enough money for this, that, and the other. Here, you have a building ready to use; no need to spend dough on a new one, and all the costs associated with building one. Oh, it's not close to the sponsoring entities. We have these things called cars, taxi's, and public transportation that can get you from one place to another. Take the Verizon building and save a little dough.
