LITTLE ROCK, AR – Little Rock Police Chief Thomas has sent two officers in jail on drug charges letters informing them that the termination process has begun, FOX16 has learned.
Officers Mark Jones and Randall Robinson face charges of conspiring to aid and abet and attempting to aid and abet the possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possessing a firearm while taking part in a drug-trafficking crime, prosecutors said.
Jones and Robinson were served in jail on Saturday with a letter from Chief Thomas informing them the department has started the process to terminate them.
Both men, who had their first court hearing Friday, are still being paid as of now.
