LITTLE ROCK, AR – Traffic was backed up for miles on I-430 northbound Tuesday night after a Mustang hit a Little Rock police car.

The Arkansas State Police say the white Mustang changed lanes to avoid a car in front of it and slammed into the back of the police car. The Mustang came to rest in the median with significant front end damage.

Little Rock Police say the officer was taken to the hospital. According to reports, he is sore but recovering.

The other day I got the one finger salute from a lady executing this feat with both hands simultaneously. I realized I must have done something doubly bad and wondered who was driving the car?

I slow down in the construction area (it's 55 and not the usual 75 everyone else drives) and get the one finger salute all of the time for impeding traffic. Since LR really needs the money more marked and unmarked cruisers need to patrol the speedway.

Only a guy named Fardy McPooter could come up with an answer like "vapor evaporation containment system." Wires dangling from the back of a police car are obviously used to drag the offender who t boned their cruiser down the highway. Just kidding of course and I hope the police officer involved is making a speedy recovery.

Real Smart! just one more thing Ford can put in a bad spot (likelyhood of getting hit very high), to make accidents more costly for owners and or Insurance companies! Instead of just a bumper etc, it is now electronic gadgets. LOLOL!

And what is that box with the wires dangling from it at the back of the police car?

If you have to change lanes to avoid hitting the car in front of you, you're going too fast. People use I-430 as a speedway. I hope the Mustang driver gets a nice hefty fine...and an unsympathetic judge.
