LITTLE ROCK, AR - The excitement and anticipation started hours before the doors open to the Jack Stephens Center. Fans came out to support their team and cheer them on to a win.
Lady Trojan fans can’t even begin to explain how excited they are to watch their team on their own turf. And they know the team will feel the love from the fans, some who have been rooting for the team for years.
But the fans in blue are dedicated too. They traveled 1200 miles, 18 hours driving straight through to get here in time for the game.
Delaware Hen fan Pat Carmine said “We had to be here on time for this game,” Delaware fan Pat Carmine said. “We’re looked forward to it for a long time.”
Delaware diehards don’t care they’re surrounded by so many in maroon. They say they stick together in crowds and their passion from the players always packs seats.
But the fans say the competitiveness is all on the court. They’re just here to watch, have fun, enjoy the game and cheer loud and proud.
