Lane Closures in Lonoke on I-40 and Highway 31

LONOKE, AR - Some lane closures are temporarily in effect this week on Interstate 40 and Highway 31 in Lonoke for crews doing maintenance to the Highway 31 overpass.

Officials with the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) say the project will require the eastbound outside lane of Interstate 40 to be closed today and Tuesday.

The westbound outside lane will be closed Wednesday and Thursday.

The eastbound and westbound lane closures will be in effect between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. each day, weather permitting.

In addition, temporary lane closures will be necessary at the same times on the Highway 31 overpass. Traffic will be controlled by flaggers and warning signs.

The Highway 31 overpass is located at Exit 175 on Interstate 40 in Lonoke.
