LITTLE ROCK, AR -- Video from a ninth grade math class at McClellan Magnet High School shows a girl grinding on another girl and then she does the same thing to a boy.
"This is shocking, you know that something like this would go on at the school with some students," Michelle Brason, a parent of one the students, said.
Brason's son is rolling on the action with his cell phone.
"So I'm thinking where is the teacher?" said Brason.
We're told the students had a substitute teacher on this day but it's unclear if that sub is in the room when this all goes down. Brason said she took the video to the principal Monday, but the school hasn't responded to her complaint.
"I should have heard from them by now, if it were important to them. It's really important to me," Brason said.
We took the alarming video to Little Rock School District headquarters.
"As soon as the principal learned about it which is I mentioned to you Monday he began the investigation which you have to thoroughly investigate," said Pamela Smith, the district's spokeswoman.
Smith said the school and the district take the video seriously. However, it takes time to get the facts from the participants and witnesses.
"The classroom ought to be a place for learning and so we're committed to making sure the students have the best opportunity to do that without disruption," Smith said.
As a form of punishment, Brason took her son's phone away from him and laid down the law.
"We just talked to him and let him know this is not the type of thing you do. You go to school to learn, get an education, not to goof off in class," Brason said.
The substitute teacher is now on leave pending the outcome of the investigation. We don't know what will happen to the students.
