Am I missing something here? I thought the law stated that you must be 18 years or older to vote. On the Arkansas Voter Registration application - located at votepulaski.net, section 9 (b) indicates that you must be at least 18 at the time of the next election. If this is true, then that statement that "Any person has the right to vote" is incorrect. I agree that some form of legal ID should be checked when a person goes to vote. Anyone can take my Voter Registration Card and use it if they match my gender type.

Any person has the right to vote would wake me up. The illegal vote should be a concern in this country.What about the people that are not citizens that live in this country. Ex-cons. Can they just walk up and vote. I'd say this would just insure that the people with the right to run this country would be doing it.

I want voters to show ID or papers that they are Arkansas resident or American citizenship. We pay for alot of other pet bills, why not this one. I myself am tired of fraud in all govrnment programs.

TAKING AWAY VOTER ID IS ABSURD....VOTER FRAUD IS INEVITABLE. THERE ISN'T A SINGLE PERSON THAT DOESN'T HAVE OR CAN'T GET A LEGAL ID...THERE JUST ISN'T. I KIND OF LIKE THE IDEA THAT IF YOU DRAW A GOVERNMENT CHECK FOR ANYTHING OTHER THAN SOCIAL SECURITY OR DISABILITY YOU SHOULDN'T VOTE. IF A FELON CAN'T VOTE, THEN IT IS POSSIBLE TO DENY THIS RIGHT TO OTHERS. IMO
