Legislators question rising Medicaid costs in budget

The fact is, some of the legislators asked tough questions on the record then ended up rubber-stamping over $114 million in NEW spending just for Medicaid. DHS says it is just to keep their current programs??? $114 million. Are you kidding me? State legislators don't think we're going to notice what they do in joint budget committee. Guess again. You might want to think about November 2012 before you stick your approval on more state spending.
