Police investigate a shooting death in Little Rock

LITTLE ROCK, AR – Little Rock Police are investigating a shooting death that occurred around 8:30pm on Wednesday.

The shooting happened at 9703 Wilderness in the Mabelvale area. Police say that a man was found dead in the doorway of the home. According to the police report, the 911 caller said 4 suspects got out of a car and ran into the house. The caller reports hearing 5 gunshots, then saw the 4 suspects run out of the house, get into the car, and drive away.

The shooting victim is reported to be 32-year-old Michael Smith.

Rest in peace Lil' Mike, you will be greatly missed by your family exspecially your children. This is such a senseless killing Mike was a great guy not a thug.

I have no idea what earned this man his death, but I seriously hope ALL 4 of the shooters spend the rest of their miserable lives behind bars. Usually it is one YOUNG MAN SACRIFICING HIS LIFE FOR ONE OTHER YOUNG MAN..FOR SOME STUPID REASON.....HOW SAD.

They have attempted to write several incidents out Chicot and other locations, changing the details every time you see it...Can't get address right, house, apt., trailor, gramma, aunt, nor ages, etc....oh well...Sorry for this man's family....God Bless this Thanksgiving Day.

Interesting how last night the description of the vehicle was a "town car". Now it's a "large dark colored vehicle."
